Sioux Empire Kennel Club Dog Show

The Sioux Empire Kennel Club (Sioux Falls, SD) All Breed Dog Shows, Obedience Trials and Rally Trials were October 28 - 30. This was not the first dog show I've attended but the first one where I began to understand.

I had the honor of being with a well-experienced group of folks who took their time to explain the "whats" and "whys" and "hows" of the dog show world. Or at least a piece of it.They threw me the bait and I took it!

I'm hoping to become more active in the dog show world....not just in getting Bones ready for obedience, utility, rally (not sure if my body will ever handle agility) but in helping with conformation. It was so exciting!

Halloween

The other hounds in the house have warned me that the MomPerson likes to dress us up for Halloween. Bucksnort (now ATB) was her favorite victim.

Brother Bailey (he's a Lhasa hound) wasn't lucky enough to escape the humiliation.

As you can see, Bosco isn't in any of these pictures. He claims to have escaped the indignities of dress up. He says its because he's too cool. I think its because he ate the pictures! Nonetheless....I'm scared!

Here are the remains of the MomPerson's remote control. How was I suppose to know I wasn't suppose to redecorate it? I was only getting it ready for Halloween! MomPerson was making the outside look all scary and creepy so I was just helping!
